“High Altitude Dreams” was formally established in 1998 as a Nepal-based company to provide trekking and expedition services including 8000-meter operations. We have handled Nepal operations for many companies:

Mountain madness (Seattle, Wa, USA), Adventure Extreme (Scotland), Nazir Sabir Expeditions (Pakistan), Eco Plein Air (Qubec, Canada), Brown University (USA), George Washington University (USA), Plattsburgh State University (USA), Colorado Mountain School (USA), Teanager Lodge (USA), Mountain Gurus (USA) and Travel Consultant (Ottawa, Canada). In addition to the companies mentioned above, we also work with many other mountain guides from around the world.

An Introduction to High Altitude Dreams

We have handled both foreign-guided and exclusively Sherpa-guided Everest expeditions and put many clients on the summits of Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, and Ama Dablam. For those with different goals, we arrange shorter, less expensive expeditions to Everest Camp 2, the Western Cwm, and the South Col. In addition; we independently arrange custom trips according to clients’/groups'/wishes.

With a dedicated staff of 20 climbing Sherpa’s representing over 50 successful summits of Everest, over 15 of Cho Oyu, and over 20 of Ama Dablam, and more than 15 years of experience for many of them, we are proud of our services and happy to provide references.

Our cooks and kitchen teams, some with experience of more then 20 years, serve 3 excellent meals a day, and if special dietary requests are made with advance notice, we can provide whatever kind of foods you desire.

We are also proud of our porter service. Porters are well-equipped, clothed and paid, and we provide them with medical services as needed and evacuation and life insurance. In addition, we use yaks for gear transport to all Base Camps as needed.

We have an extensive inventory of high-quality gear, stored in various convenient locations. On the trail, we provide tents, a shower tent, toilet tent, and dining tent with chairs and tables. We have medical kits and a Gamow Bag at Base Camp, as well as propane heaters for dining tents. For expedition clients we have radio communications at and above Base Camp. For those clients going beyond camp 3 on Everest, we provide high quality oxygen masks, regulators and the lightest oxygen bottles available today as well as fixed lines, North Face tents, cooking equipment, primus gas stoves, high altitude food and of course the best climbing sherpas!
