NANGBA LA AND RENJO LA TREK
Trip Profile: 24 Days
Hotel: 2+2 Nights in Kathmandu
Trekking Days: 19 Days
Maximum Elevation: 5716 Meter
This trek is designed for those who love to have a unique experience
of climbing two of the best known passes in the Khumbu Region,
the Nangba La Pass (5716 m) and Renjo La Pass (5625 m). Nangba
La Pass is a recently opened trail and very few trekkers are able
to reach this pass. This is the international boarder with Tibet
which Tibetan traders use to reach Nepal and sell their goods at
Nammche Bazar. Since there are no teahouses near the Nangba
La this trek provides unique opportunity to get off the beaten path,
camping at foot of this famous pass. This combination provides
us exceptional views of the world's highest mountain range and Mt.
Everest the greatest peak of Khumbu region. For those beginner climbers,
this trek provides the opportunity to climb a small Gokyo Peak (5360M.)
We will fly in and out from Lukla at 3000m. Lukla is a small STOL
(Short Take off & Landing) airfield close to our mountains.
The flight from Lukla is "interesting" to say the least
and probably one of the most spectacular flights in the world.
Our highly trained, skilled and experienced
trekking guide will lead you throughout the trekking period.
We will spend ample time acclimatizing to new altitudes for increased
safety and comfort. High Altitude Dreams is proud of our experienced
guides.
The price includes guide, porters, all transportation
in Nepal, National Park Fee, accommodation and breakfast in Kathmandu,
as well as all meals and lodging along the trail, and during transport
to and from Kathmandu. Not included: International air fare,
visa, lunch and dinner in Kathmandu, alcoholic beverages, mineral
water, laundry, trip insurance, and tips for the guides and porters.
